This piece was commissioned by Remnant Christian Network [RCN] North America to celebrate the birthday of their senior pastor. The theme ‘In Motion’ speaks to a life in constant pursuit of God’s call constantly being on the move, influenced by the concept of Philippians 3:14 — “… Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus.”]

The bus represents the church and the believer’s journey towards God’s calling. The dawn sky, inspired by Revelation 22:16 — “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star.” — symbolises  Jesus Christ. The flowers among the grass are Lillies of the Valley and Roses of Sharon, both names/titles that are ascribed to Jesus in Christian terminology.

The American and Nigerian flags rising above the church building, in the light of the morning sun, are inspired by prophecies of the global destinies of both nations. They also speak to the reach and the mandate of the Remnant Christian Network.
