‘Sunset in Palmers Green’ is the first release of the ‘Home’ series. The piece explores the balance between movement and stillness in the process of discovering and embracing the concept of ‘home’. As a Nigerian-born and UK-raised artist, I have consistently struggled to define where ‘home’ lies. This struggle has remained constant, especially after moving out and relocating across countries and continents.‘

The sky remains still, while the blurriness of the locale indicates movement, underlining the idea that, while geographical locations can shift, the skies and what is above remain the same. The main message of the piece is; all places, though differing, are connected by the same heavens.
